A proud Métis woman from Saskatchewan, Julie Ann is a mother of two inspiring children. She majored in psychology at the University of Saskatchewan, and holds a Business Communications diploma with distinction from SIAST and is currently finishing her MBA.

Julie Ann is the founder and CEO of Evolution Management Consulting and the former CEO of Pinehouse Business North, a Northern owned and operated company specializing in construction and labour services for the mining industry. The opportunity to restructure an operating company and work at the ground level to create wealth for a community was a second to none education in business development. Julie Ann's past experience including Westcap Mgt. Ltd. and the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan, developing effective governance structures, strategic planning, and information sharing and inclusion at the community level make for a powerful set of skills.

In the community, Julie Ann has served on the City of Saskatoon's Urban Aboriginal Grant

Committee, the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce Aboriginal Opportunities Committee, and the Affinity Credit Union District Council. She has been a Board Member of the Saskatchewan Opportunities Corporation since 2013.
